Just to remind you something about Cotto-Margarito

Margarito will not be the best WW should he beat Cotto, unless he beats Paul Williams as well, But Cotto on the other hand WILL be the Ring Magazine champion if he beats Margarito as he has already beaten Judah, Mosley and Quintana at the same time will be undefeated.

He is already #1 in the eyes of most people, but that #1 will change to the linear title on July 26th should he come with the Win like I expect. Cotto will have to face Williams too only if he DOESN'T fight Oscar De La Hoya.

Either way I would like to see the winner of this fight face Paul Williams, but this much is estabilished that if Cotto wins on Saturday he is Ring Magazine and Linear champion of the 147 Division, if Margarito wins he has to beat Williams as well to gain that status.

Viva Mexico thinks Antonio Margarito would beat Thomas Hearns at WW Prime vs Prime. He will click no.

To become champ, the number 1 guy needs to beat the number 2 guy(or vice-versa). The Ring have Cotto #1 and Mosley #2, but that wasn't the rankings when they fought. Kinda like how Wlad isn't the Ring champ even though Sam Peter is the number 2 guy in the division.

Paul Williams and Daniel Santos would be laughing their asses off at that one.

margarito would have beaten the best welter weight if he wins. I always hear bull **** claims to be the best you got to beat the best, but now if margarito beats the best he's not the best because paul williams beat him. Well quintana beat williams, cotto ko'd quintana, so does that make margarito>cotto, williams, quintana ????? margarito will be the real champion if he wins no one will deny that. (haters will) Rest assured margarito will welcome a re-match with williams with hands wide open. Williams is very fortunate margarito was a slow started back then. Williams in my opinion needs to be a man and give quintana a rematch just like quintana did for him when he whoops his ass the first fight. They have unsettled business.

Paul Williams needs to fight Quintanna again, if Quintanna hadn't fought Williams again we wouldn't even be talking about Williams so Williams needs to fight Quintanna again to show that he can do it again or was it Quintanna this time the one who didn't prepare well.

And if Margarito loses Williams still has to fight Margarito again as the fight was too close. Either way Margarito jumps back at the top if he loses to Cotto so really Margarito is in a no lose situation. And when Margarito wins, he'll gladly fight Williams again its no coincidence that Williams lost after he fought Margarito.

                Thats right on.

If MArgarito wins, theres no denying he's the best welterweight.

Let me add to this...if Cotto wins he has truly earned the right to be called the man at 147...a helluva lot more then Floyd Mayweather ever did.

Cotto has been cleaning out the best division in boxing and a win saturday night helps to cement the "hes the man" notion where as Floyd beat Baldomir and then turned his back to the real challenges the division presented.

Not hating on Floyd just stating the facts...if you are going to walk around calling yourself the greatest fighter that ever lived you need to be looked at hard...and if you look at things hard you may realize that he is not the greatest fighter who ever lived and he may have not even have been the best welterweight in the world at the time of his retirement...hmmmm

Cotto Wins = WW King regardless of whatever The Ring says
Margo Wins = needs to avenge loss to Williams to be considered the King.

simple as that. **** yalls opinions
