well but we are talking about the stage in which Floyd is at which is in his prime not fighting the best which a lot of people said about Roy jones jr in his prime. anyone could easily argue that at this point in his career Roy Jones Jr when he is clearly past his prime that he has nothing to lose by taking this fight and really everything to gain if he won. honestly not trying to get in a debate with you about Roy Jones Jr because i have a lot of respect for him and i enjoyed watching him fight because of the grace and skill that he showed in the ring. also if i did then we would be getting off topic like you said earlier

I'm starting to think the reason floyd left arum while he was at welter was cause of margarito.and the reason he retired was cause of cotto.I'm sure floyd expected cotto to be done with by now,but no,the young bull is the it boy of the division.i respect floyd's game, dude is incredible but isn't the appeal of beating two prime undefeated fighters in hatton and cotto not the least bit intriguing to him?i just don't know why.
as I've stated before my hunch is floyd knows cotto has what it takes to beat him.cotto is a a bigger better stronger more versatile version of the castillo people believe beat him in there first fight.just saying.

After Floyd disposed of Gatti he wanted Hatton or Cotto as his next opponent and they both turned down the fight at the time because they weren't "ready". Look that **** up.... it's true. I hate when people turn down fights and then 3 or 4 years later they act like they had their sights set on someone the whole time. Hatton got his cuz he called out Floyd plain and simple. Atleast Hatton wasn't scared to lose. But Cotto is a straight *****. You never heard him call out the great Floyd Mayweather. Always "left" it to the promoters to "determine" when he would be "ready". HE could have called him out but never did... plain and simple. Floyd is on the level where the risk to reward ratio is heavily against him.. why fight margarito for 8 million or cotto for 10 or 15 when he can fight DLH for 35 million and whip him again. Its common sense! If you need to be mad at someone be mad at the powers that be (Arum, DLH, Don King). Why is it that Oscar always gets whatever fight he wants? Cuz he offers the most lucrative deals.. So he BUYS the sport of boxing and the other fighters SELLOUT. I wish Floyd would have never fought his ***** ass in the first place. That fight kinda spoiled him and he figures why fight for less. So why in the hell should he fly coach when he has grown accustomed to 1st class. F that. HE is doing the right thing... He'll be back when the $ is right. And it isn't HIS fault these boxers don't have the marketability that he has. Mayweather does everything better than Cotto... EVERYTHING. plain and simple. Better boxer period. And he would knock his ass out... I said it against Hatton when everybody said he couldn't knock him out cuz he was too tough. HE has the best punching percentage in the sport and hits that chin with sniper preciseness. Cotto fans enjoy your champ and learn to move on. Mayweather is retired... let him be. and if he does come back we'll be lucky to be able to watch him grace the ring one more time... peace out
                Good ****! I gotta cosign!

But you cant tell these FANBOY/NOVICES anything. They're like **********s, the metamorph the truth to fit their point of view and despise anyone who says other wise.
