    the legend of david tua

not many people know this but...... when tua was a young boy he had an accident. back in samoa before his family moved to new zealand , little mafaufau was climbing a tree with his friends. he had an accident and fell off the coconut tree landing face first on some rocks and a pile of coconuts. little mafaufau was badly hurt and the doctors had to replace his entire jaw and lower face with steel and titanium implants. that's how little mafaufau grew up to be the legendary fighter impervious to punches we now know today.

    true story.

god , what did they call the rules in the old days?

queen's rules? where you fight a round 'til someone goes down and the new round starts after the guy gets up? i think that's how the rules went......

                anybody here know? just curious......

yea, a round was the length of time it took for a boxer to get knocked over, then they had 30 seconds to scratch and they were off again!!!
