- Boxer Ultiminio "Sugar" Ramos killed both Davey Moore and Jose Blanco in the ring.

- Jim Morrison attended Ali vs Frazier I before moving to Paris, he died 3 months later.

- Benny Leonard retired from boxing and became a referee, he ended up suffering a heart attack during a bout and died in the ring.

- After becoming addicted to ******* and crack Aaron Pryor shadow boxed in the streets for pocket change.

Don't tell that to Kid Azteca (Luis Villanueva) who fought for 30 years (1929-1961) at the highest level (fought 6 former champs) and NEVER got a title shot!
He is still alive and at age 88 will probably enter the WBC rankings at number 1 in the lightweight division for "past achievements".
