wow... i didn't think it was possible to look worse or even as bad as he did against tsypko and manfredo, but lacy really has come through with yet another stinker!!!! sure it was entertaining in parts, but mendoza is no world-beater, as dawson promptly let us know last year. that was pretty sad for someone who wants to be known as an elite fighter...
someone who was supposedly bringing his 'A Game...'

all i can say about tonight is that the best part of lacy not getting knocked out is that jermain taylor will now very likely knock lacy's bum ass out. hopefully a loss to taylor will prevent hbo, showtime, espn, versus, telemundo and/or any other channel that I may ever stumble upon from EVER allowing lacy to pollute the airwaves again. i am sick of watching this bum...

then again, after ouma, spinks, winky, and pavlik, I have been reluctant to put much faith in jermain. still, i am hoping that he comes in at the level that he was on in the pavlik rematch (the best he has looked since pre-hopkins). if he does, he will easily put it on the over-muscled freak and hopefully end his career, or at least as far as fighting on television is concerned.

btw, doesnt lacy know that buldging, i-can't-wipe-my-own-butt, muscles are horrible for boxing?!?!? just ask emmanuel stewart.

yea, he got way too much credit for that fight. even when lacy was knocking out bums in highlight reel fashion- there were still blatant wholes in his game. i dont know if it was a matter of the american press overhyping lacy or just totally underestimating calzaghe- probably a combination of both, but i am glad that zaghe whooped that ass.

you can't throw one power punch potshot and than stand inactive on the inside all day and not expect to get hit and beat up by a respectable fighter....

When Floyd retired I prayed to god that Pacman be P4P number 1. I seriosly would have been disgusted with Calzaghe as P4P number 1. I don't even think he belongs in the top five.

I agree not #1, but #2 is ok with me. He is a little overhyped, but he did technically get the decision against B-Hop, though i had b-hop winning. he also took on Kessler who I thought he would duck, so I'm ok with it. however, I don't want to hear about how hes the best super-middleweight of all time though. give me a ****ing break!
