"I think Margarito wins it," he says. "Cotto leans forward as he comes in, and Margarito's best punch is a left uppercut."

Either way, like a lot of people, Bert reckons it may well not last the distance. Or, as he put it, "I think I saw the judges go home already." -- Kieran Mulvaney

I guess he's as dumb as you are. Your article was **** pure ****ing bias.

Actually in my gym a right uppercut is a 6 .. I have found (in more years that I care to admit) that keeping it simple for kids first coming to the gym the best way to get them to learn combos is to number all right side punches even numbers and all left side odd.

It makes life very simple for 8 year olds and easy for me to send home sheets where kids can learn basic punch combinations when they can't be in the gym.

over thirty years ago I asked Ray Arcel what he used and then Manny Steward 2 decades later. They both said the same thing .. Whatever works best for you and the fighters.

Steward doesn't use a number system at all and never has.

simple way to add a body shot would be to add a B to any count. 3B - 3 left hook body to the head.

Of course I have only had one title holder and a couple dozen gold glovers so you may know better than I...Forum posters always do..LOL

For all the haters out there without you I wouldn't get ideas for articles that would get a rise out of the forum so thank you for your comments no matter how uneducated and immature they get. As far as bias goes you have reminded me once again that anyone that writes a word that you don't nuthug is bias.

Have you heard of objectivity? If your going to look at one guys flaws put them in perspective with the other guys flaws. And if you believe that Cotto has more flaws than Margarito does, then there's no smart conversation to be had with you.

Dude its all been said with Quintana is a tune-up non-natural WW but Antonio Diaz, Lujian are *by him* conisdered some of the best true WW's.

GTF out of here with that bull****. **** gotta go both ways.

Diaz was fighting at jrWW a few fights before he got in there with Margarito haha.

Kyvelos was the Tye Fields of the WW division.

Lujan.......haha, need I even say anything about this one.

Quintana has way more validty as a WW opponent than any of those guys, but he is the one that is downplayed the most.

Not only that he compared Cintron and Clottey to Mosley and Judah. What's even funnier he takes one paragraph to mention Margo's flaws and five or six to attack Cotto's. And he actually expects us to consider him unbiased.

Just for reference Tex or whatever who did you pick in the Cotto/Gomez fight.

Quintana runs to hot and cold to be considered in the same regards as Clottey and Cintron .... You judge these fighters where they are now not where they were at the time of their fights with AM... I pointed out both fighters bad habits and left out ones that were obvious good ones because frankly Margo has the better chin, better inside technique and in the interest of balance didn't want to seem to one sided but there is no reasoning with some people. And I have been writing hear since day one so I'm not going anywhere . And do you kiss your mother with that mouth, I'm sure she taught you better ways to get people to respect your opinions, you only devalue your intelligence by acting the fool....

I took Cotto over Gomez of course and would not be surprised if Cotto beat Margarito as I said.It just doesn't stack up that way in my opinion. I also got tired of seeing Margarito not being given any real props in this fight in the media when he has earned better...Some guys are afraid to write counter to popular opinion I on the other hand like playing the devils advocate and getting people talking,...
