THis is the most AMATUER claim by the so-called 'author." Cotto was in trouble against Corley and Torres and NOT 1 opportunistic lowblow occured. The "author" is a ****in idiot.

Body punchers like Cotto will on occasion hit low, **** Chavez did it regularly. Judah was trying to win on disqualification. If you listen you can hear the ref, apparently a "family" member of Zab's.... telling Zab "You can't win on disqualification" as if to say... bro give this angle up. Zab too has hit low. **** it, EVERY fighter in almost EVERY fight. Judah headbutted Cotto, opening a cut in th middle rounds and Cotto HUGGED him and gave him a pound. No crying, no bitchin to the ref. He simply ****ed Judah up afterwards.

So yeah, to me... when I read this BS it tells me the person is a ****in ROOKIE. This is soap opera BS and anybody who KNOWS Cotto, knows that is BS. SHane hit Cotto low in the 10 round... cotto shrugs it off.

Margarito has an iron chin, great work rate and power. Also an average hand speed and food work. Cotto is the better overall boxer between them. Cotto by UD or late stoppage by cuts.

This writer doesnt know what hes talking about. Zab Judah recently fought at JMW, hes a true WW, as is Carlos Quintana. And calling Quintana a tune up fight at the time leads me to believe he wasnt actually watching the fight. Miguel was moving up in weight against a larger undefeated opponent, who was coming off of a huge win.
Homeboy needs to do some research.

WOW! And this guy claims that Cotto's power has diminished because hes only stopped four out of five guys at welter, the one going the distance being Shane Mosley. Nobody finishes Mosley.
He then goes on to praise Margarito for being the much stronger finisher. Like when he finished Santos, Williams and Clottey?

OMG! He then goes on to talk about Margarito being considerably stronger than Shane Mosley, and how Cotto doesnt have the footwork to box!
Unbelievable. The guy is clearly a Margarito fan, but he is a HORRIBLE writer.
I would send him an Email detailing all of his shortcomings, if I thought it would do any good.

For real. If this guy takes himself seriously as a writer, he should be ashamed. There is so much ludicrous bias in that article its unbelievable. Its like the guy is blatantly lying to the public and getting away with it.
Whatever, Cotto and Margarito are gonna settle it on Saturday.

Not a good article, full of a bunch of BS if you ask me. First off the title is bull****. Yeah, Antonio is the underdog as defined by webster and every sports bookie I heard of. There is a lower expectation/confidence in Antonio winning than in Cotto winning..........that means he IS and underdog.

What else....."Mosley is the only true 147-pounder that Cotto has faced and never has Cotto faced a top ranked welterweight fighter over 5'9"."

You dont say, I guess Quintana is not 5'10" according to most sites. I also guess a past lineal WW champ in Judah is not a true WW? I also guess that Quintana is actually a lightweight?

What else......Yeah, you down play Quintana as a tune-up and not true welterweight but in the very next sentence you trumpet Margarito's great wins over "The best true welterweights" like Luijan, Antonio Diaz and Kyvelos.......

Hold on kids there's more...he states that Margarito has more 1 punch power than Mosley and Judah. **** I guess he missed the memo about Margarito being a volume puncher.

He talks about Margarito's under-rated defense and how he well he counters. **** I gotta see that fight where Margarito countered so well. Margarito is volume swarmer. If any gets countered it will be Cotto doing the counter punching.

not only margarito has a granite chin, he is bigger in height and has tremendous power to wear down his opponent. if margarito uses his height advantage, work on the body, with his unceasing combos to the head and body, he will surely emerge the winner.

on july 26, cotto's winning streak will stop.
