    Exactly.

Paul's unfocused nights are behind him. He toys with Cotto if they fight.

so in other words... you being sure of something... doesnt really mean anything.
I mean really? Okay I'm not omnipotent and I can't see the future. Glad we cleared that up. Discovery at its finest.

I believe Cotto would beat Williams because Williams has trouble establishing consistent spatial distance with his opponents. He lets smaller opponents get to him (Quintana, Matthysse and even a shot Sharmba) and that would be detrimental to his success against a fighter as good as Miguel Cotto. In his first fight with Quintana he just allowed Carlos to throw looping power shots and fall in. Poor, poor ring generalship (or defense or whatever you wanna call it). Cotto would make adjustments to his opponent, as he has proven he can do, and he'd land many effective, damaging punches in an area where Paul Williams is not comfortable fighting.

      Cotto by mid-late round knockout.

I didn't say Williams can't make adjustments. Come on now...

It took Williams 13 rounds to figure out his opponent. So far it hasn't taken Cotto nearly that long to figure out his.

My opinion, which I have explained, is that Cotto would stop Williams. Oh joyous day WNF is on. I'm done here. Toodles.

It boiled down to the fact that Quintana did have an extensive amateur background, and hence extensive experience fighting southpaws, Williams on-the-other-hand did not.

Go to any amateur show, watch two novice southpaws fight each other, they are some of the best fights you will ever see because neither fighter has a clue how to block left hands.

What Quintana did had much less to do with his boxing abilities than it had to do with Paul Williams inexperience with southpaws.
Cotto's best punch is the left hook.. you forget he is a converted southpaw.. his left is his strong hand.

Williams has never faced an excellent body puncher like Cotto

Williams is scrawny and his ribs are a big target....Cotto would get inside and hurt Williams body bad...I wouldn't be surprised at all if Cotto broke Williams ribs.

Never, When has he realy been worked to the body by a devastating body puncher like cotto? i mean yeah ive seen him tagged with 1 or two good shots to the body from fighters, But for cotto a weak body shot is better than most peoples and he does it over the course of 12 rounds with no break just non stop pressure, Williams wont be able to handle it
