Cotto fighting in his natural weight class.. Williams is a Middleweight fighting @ welter! Cotto don't need to worry about draining himself to make weight and Williams do.. You add those body shots in the mix and Williams is getting tired.

Time for some education silly pants. Quintana beat Williams for 1 reason, and 1 reason alone. Williams lack of amateur experience. I called it before the fight. Williams would look bad and get caught with left hands all night long.

It boiled down to the fact that Quintana did have an extensive amateur background, and hence extensive experience fighting southpaws, Williams on-the-other-hand did not.

Go to any amateur show, watch two novice southpaws fight each other, they are some of the best fights you will ever see because neither fighter has a clue how to block left hands.

What Quintana did had much less to do with his boxing abilities than it had to do with Paul Williams inexperience with southpaws.

It would be a great fight to see. I could see it going either way but most likely a couple body shots would definitely break Williams workrate and power down a couple notches.

Williams can take a punch so I can see it going 12 rounds.

I would go with Cotto because if a Quintana can beat Williams I can sure as hell see Cotto bringin the pain in the worst way.

Cotto by Body Shot KO- Williams goes out with broken ribs pissing blood from kidney shots

Williams looked pretty good against Sharmba Mitchell though...

You mean the hopelessly past his prime Sharmba Mitchell that turned pro in 1988 and spent half his career fighting below 140lb? Yeah, because thats a good analogue for fighting a good natural 147lb southpaw.
