Maybe if Froch hadn't been such a "protected, stay-at-home fraud" to this point in his career, he would have enough draw to be a lucrative fight for Taylor. But he's only fought once on U.S. television, which as we know, is where the money is.

I think it's fair to call out Taylor's camp for being focused primarily on money, because it appears that's what they're doing here, but "protected" and "fraud" are absurd when you're talking about a guy who has fought a champion-level competition his last SEVEN fights.

Froch would fight anyone IMO, DiBella wants none of him and i cant help thinking that its nothing to do with the fact that he is unknown outside the UK and more to do with the fact that he is a legitimate challenge.

I can't say what DiBella thinks, but Froch does seem like a legitimate challenge... and for less money than Lacy. I have a feeling if the money was there for Froch, they'd take the fight. They took this approach against Pavlik the first time, after Taylor's infamous "I'll fight the best fight for the most money" remarks after the Spinks fight.

That said, I have no doubt Taylor could box Froch's face off. But if he falls back into his old habits, he also risks getting KTFO.

i always thought Calzaghe would win, i watched all of Lacys big fights and not only was he not very good boxing wise, i was never that impressed with his power.

Jeff Lacy has that body that makes people think crazy thoughts, kinda like David Haye, though Haye is a better boxer.

If you can get a copy of Lacy vs. Richard Grant you can see all the flaws in Lacy's game against a journeyman who had been ****** out by supposedly lesser men. After that fight i was convinced Lacy was garbage.

He was also crap against Vanderpool before scoring the knockout.
