Im inclined to agree with atlas this time...usually i think he's a maniac who is excellent at picking out strategies that can be used for fighters but horrible at deciding winners...

        this is the exception.

i agree with 95% of what he said...

its what i been saying all along:

        cotto by decision...

        why?

margarito can't box...well technically he CAN but not well enough to outbox cotto.

i see cotto and margarito going toe to toe for maybe 3 rounds and then i see cotto making the adjustment to box margarito and tag him on his way in and out (since margarito has the habit of coming inside and getting out without the jab...cotto and team should be able to pick that flaw up and use it to their advantage).

only chance i give margarito is if in those first 3 rounds (that i expect toe to toe brawling) he catches cotto with a clean shot...which isnt unreasonable to think...but i see cotto winning a close but clear cut decision of the UD or possible SD variety.

Well.. I was joking. But.. what the hell. Even though, I still think Cotto will probably win, I'll take Margarito for 10K.

Bert Sugar picked Margarito. Someone posted it earlier in the week.

Margarito's gonna have to dig deep to pull out a huge win.

This is his second opportunity to prove he deserves to be at the top of the PPV stars list.

If he hasn't learned any new tricks since his bout with Williams, and just plods along looking for that one lucky shot, I don't think he can win.

He may not get knocked out, but I think he'll continue struggling to get the big money fights he's been craving for.

I take a neutral position in some fights to give the fighters the benefit of the doubt since 'anything can happen' in boxing.

It would be a nice surprise if Marg wins, but I see why many choose Cotto to beat him since Marg's strengths lie in mainly two areas at the moment:

                      His beard and his stamina.

The Williams fight was his opportunity to showcase his punching power along with his strongest attributes: chin and heart, but came up short, and was upset when his plan to beat Williams was derailed.

I just hope the fight doesn't turn into a borefest.
