For conversation sake, lets say he didnt get the decision. He wins the rematch. Then after that? Third fight? would he be where he is now if he had lost?

He did lose the decision to Castillo.. it was just some bull**** scoring by the judges.
I would say in the same place considering he did lose it.

38-1 baby!! 39 have tried.. Castillo accomplished!

maybe it makes him better. I don't know. maybe he takes more chances without trying to preserve the 0 and goes up to 154 and 160

Exactly the same place. Because -unlike MOST guys who get a controversial decision - he rematched the guy IMMEDIATELY to prove who was the better man. Say what you will about the man, but you have to respect that.

Hey, Ricky. How's that Collazo rematch coming along?
Was Dawson in any rush to give Glencoffe a rematch?

Why would you want a 5'7" guy who is 150 soaking wet to move up to 160? Shane is a bigger man than Floyd, and he wasn't really viable at 154 even.

Same place w/less nuthuggers. As another poster pointed it out, I believe he might have been even better.

He came back and won the rematch, so his career probably takes the same path. He just wouldn't have his 0 anymore. Had they fought a 3rd time, maybe things would change.

Would not have changed too much. He gets the rematch and wins it etc etc.
