Elaborate, becuase the only things that Mayweather has over Toney is an unbeaten record and consistantcy, while Toney has not only fought but beaten the better fighters. Both have captured titles in 5 different weight classes.

Floyd will, the undefeated record means alot - much more than it should. Plus Toneys steroid bans will hurt him big. Throw in the fact that he's had quite a few close fights coz he didnt really show up like he could hav done.

For me tho James Toney is possibly the most complete fighter ive seen

The unbeaten record can't mean a lot if you retired being critisized for not fighting the best. Fighters like Toney, Pacquaio, Duran, Leonard ect will go down greater than guys like Mayweather, Jones, Sven Oktte ect simply becuase they were known for fighting the best of their era. The unbeaten record looks nice of course, but the historians credits the fighters that took more chances.

          Duran Is Quitter.

Pacquiao Is Little Fighter. Who Cares About Midgets?

Roy Jones Is Very Good But He Not As Good As Floyd.

Some day, you will get help. I really have no comment for that.

most people will say PBF but i gotta say Toney. Prime Toney was a beast its too bad he couldnt do better when he stepped in with RJJ but that doesnt take away from his accomplishments fighting tons of great fighters and winning so many titles. PBF hasnt fought as many great fighters as Toney although he could come close if he came back and fought both margarito and cotto...

I agree with u, im all for the best fighting the best but boxing people have short and selective memories.

Say Marg Beats Cotto then Berto beats him then Collazo beats him and there is no dominant force, people will say Floyd was right all along, they werent in his league and he didnt need to fight them.

Roy Jones never fought DM but since DM got beat nobody gives 2 ****s.

Again im not saying this is cool or how i think but alot of people see things this way

Ok. I see what you are saying now, but what if Cotto becomes a dominate champion?

Mental help my friend. The things you said were unexcusable but i can understand since you seem to be a casual fan. If you were a hardcore fan and said that stuff, then i would seriously be worried.

That could hurt him. Not quite so much Marg tho.
Yeah Infact If Cotto takes over and dominates the division (something Floyd Never did) Long term it would hurt coz Cotto's fan base will grow even more and he will be known to many as the man who ran Floyd out of boxing
