I always considered that knockdown a rabbit punch, but your point is dully noted. The record books say he got a KD vs the great Marvin Hagler.

I score it an 8. I watch his first fight vs. JT and JT gave him absolutely everything he had. You can look at the opportunity on Taylors face when he catches Pavlik and then completely unloads on him until he fell only to get right up again.

i give it right in 7-8 range, He took HARD flush shots from Taylor in Both fights, and just walked thru them, this man can take a punch.

I looked at this boxers record, and he is perfect. He has never lost, and he knocks out so many people. Since he has never lost, his chin must be good.

Pavlik has been down 4 times.....3 flash knockdowns, he was never hurt.....and the Taylor knockdown from a shot on the temple that messed up his equilibrium, Taylor landed tons of shots and Pavlik showed a huge heart and survived the round.

Pavlik got off the canvas to KO his opponent in all those fights.

I rated Pavlik's chin an 8, he is very tough fighter.

Agreed, some KD are not impressive that is for sures, but like I said just off balance, or something and they just force the people with power.
