Around 7-8 in my opinion (if the criteria is: 1=glass, 5=average, 10=great). Pavlik takes a lot of punches as a come forward fighter (although his defense is getting better now), so he has to have an exceptional chin but he can be hurt.

As long as Pavlik is able to get up, he will get up. But I can definitely see him walking into a big punch from say, Abraham, and not getting up.

Are you serious? In MW everyone tastes the canvas at some point. Being down and being hurt are two different things. Fighters aren't always hurt when they go down, just like fighters don't always go down when they are hurt. Pavlik has taken some narley shots and has always went on to get the W in most cases a KO as in JT 1.

Pavlik has been down 4 times.....3 flash knockdowns, he was never hurt.....and the Taylor knockdown from a shot on the temple that messed up his equilibrium, Taylor landed tons of shots and Pavlik showed a huge heart and survived the round.

Pavlik got off the canvas to KO his opponent in all those fights.

I rated Pavlik's chin an 8, he is very tough fighter.
