      Why did he lose those rounds? He was unwilling to engage. He crawls into his protective shell and stops throwing punches whenever he faces someone active and skilled. He was stalked into every corner for the majority of that fight. A few solid counters every third round or so, all opn single shots and never powerful, don't win you a fight.

      I don't see how it could've been different at any other time in their careers.

          To have fighters on your resume you need to beat them. Therefore, Bernard does not even have close to the best resume of the last few years. He has faced top class opposition though so credit to him for that.
