What is there not to like about Antonio Margarito???

Nothin. Cotto and PBF stans don't like him cuz he's opposed to their fighters. And his huggers get on people's nerves so people wanna see him lose just so they'll shut up. You can say that for a lot of fighters. Nothin in particular about the man himself to dislike tho. He's a nice guy outside the ring and fights his ass off inside it.

I don't see what there is not to like about either Cotto or Margarito. Both have crowd pleasing styles, both looks to fight the best possible opposition and both are good guys outside of boxing. I really can't understand why they have so many haters.

He is a true Mexican warrior.
He comes to fight and to put on a show, give people their monies worth. He isnt there to dance or run around, but to give it his all.
He is feared in the ring but a gentleman outside the ring

yeah I bet if Margarito was American he would have the same support because they like all defending him when someone claimed he is American.

Tony is a very likeable guy and I enjoy watching him fight.. who doesn't enjoy watching sluggers? I wouldn't consider myself a fan but if Tony is fighting, I am watching! He looks and acts like a good person too. I have nothing against Tony and he cool with me.
Having said that, I think some of his fans are the ones who give him a bad rep.
Some people just don't know how to have a friendly rivalry.

I am rooting for Cotto and think he will win but I've shown nothing but love for Tony and the Mexican people.. despite that some of the Mexicans on the board still like to hate and start fussing about **** that doesn't matter or has nothing to do with the fight.. they alienate themselves from everyone else by being too nationalistic and arrogant and then they get mad when someone starts to mess with them about it. Same goes for some of the Ricans on the site.

I agree. In Fighting Margarito the risk out weighs the reward. That is why Sugar Shane or PBF didn't fight him. He is not a big money guy that is why he doesn't get the big fights untill now. Other than that nothing.

I like to see Margarito fight, he's a very entertaining fighter. I just don't think he can beat Cotto.
