Why, Bob Arum couldn’t push HBO for a 24/7 series for Cotto/Margarita?

You no why, because he properly would’ve have to pay for it and thought, **** it, the fans, won’t mind..

    PRPP
It would of been nice, but in the end, this is a fight for US. The real fans of boxing.

And, to be honest, I don't think Cotto or Margarito are hugely concerned about how many PPV's this does or if there's 5000 or 10000 people watching the fight in person.

Anybody who knows anything about boxing will be watching this fight one way or another. and both these guys are coming away with a decent check regardless.

I think in order to have a good 24/7 you have to have a lot of junk/bragadocious and big personalities.

Mayweather had a lot of interesting components that made for good drama. A father Sr. that talked junk, Roger same, PBF same. On the other hand you have Billy Graham and Hatton who while not apprently initiating it he does retaliate (calling PBF boring). Hatton's dad didn't hold back too much either did he.

PBF-DLH was actually not that interesting if it wasn't for PBF. DLH is to PC and boring for me. DLH is smart because he picks big personalities to fight, Hopkins, Mayorga, Vargas, PBF.

        1. Nobody outside of the US (perhaps Mexico) knows waht the **** a DeLaHoya is
        2. "Everyone wanted to see him loose" Before DLH nobody really knew who Mayweather is.

You are very mistake De La Hoya is very known outside of America. The whole Central America, matter of fact the whole Latin America known’s who Oscar is, and is extremely popular. In Australia He is very well known even by on boxing fans. I can’t say for Asia, Africa. I bet you is known in Europe mainly western Europe.

Mayweather PPV sales were already doing extremely well before he fought Oscar De La Hoya.

De La Hoya is well known in Thailand too. Guys who you wouldn't even call casual fans of boxing know who he is.
