          24/7 ?

It ******, it made Cotto look like a clown and a fighter that doesn't take his job seriously. It made Margarita look like the kid that always got bullied and now gets a shot to get back at them.. **** 24/7 they did this fight an injustice, didn’t Oscar/Gayweather have a month long series? Then Arum's crying about ticket sales being down. The fight should’ve never been in Las Vegas, if the fight would have taken place in the East ****ing Coast, there wouldn’t be any stories of slacking ticket sales. This is what happens, when you’re an old greedy, bastard. I don’t see Arum promoting to much longer. Besides his under cards sucks and can’t hold a candle next to Don King fights, when (TITO) was still fighting..

The reason Mayweather – Osacr got a month long series is the fact they are way more popular than these two boxers, and are smart business men coming up with this idea to milk as much money as possible form that fight. Oscar is arguably the most popular boxer ever, after Tyson in PPV sale and is a huge global star. Mayweather was the undefeated champions, P4P best boxer then and everyone wanted to see him lose.
Who cares about Cotto – Margarito.
Mexicans, Ricans and hardcore boxing fans. Causal fans aren’t crazed about this fight. Hence no 24/7

Drives my point home, even clearer!

Why, Bob Arum couldn’t push HBO for a 24/7 series for Cotto/Margarita?

You no why, because he properly would’ve have to pay for it and thought, **** it, the fans, won’t mind..

Yeah the 24/7 build up for that was good. Much better than the actual fight itself.
I thought the Hatton one was too, but that fight was better as far as excitement.
