I like Teddy, he says whats on his mind. Ever noticed why Larry Merchant's role has been reduced in recent years? Because he too speaks his mind and says whatever he wants.

Shannon Briggs could be a great commentator, maybe even for HBO or Showtime. Nate Campbell will be hilarious because his sound bytes are always entertaining.

I spoke to him once by phone and he was well spoken, honest and funny. It happened to be after the first loss to Pedan. I think he'll do a decent job.

yeah shannon has a very tv friendly personality ..light trash talking.. not too over the line.. nate campbell...lmbao no comment.."color" commentary will have his picture next to it in the dictionary

I like teddy atlas...but too many times i feel like he belongs with a permanent helmet

Anything is better than Teddy Atlas, who has to be the least knowledgeable guy in the sport given the amount of hours he puts into it. He seriously has no idea when it comes to boxing anymore. Maybe at one time, but I think I'd take the opinion of a good 30 people on this site over him any day of the week.

How is he the least knowledgeable guy? Is he less knowledgeable than the people here on BoxingScene?
