Would you be upset at De La Hoya/Pacman?

    My answer is no.
    1. It is a easier fight than the Margarito/Cotto winner for De La Hoya
    2. De La Hoya would make more money fighting Pacman than any one else
    3. Pacman is the #1 Pound for Pound fighter now.
    4. A Pacman/De La Hoya fight would be more competitive than a Cotto/ De La Hoya or Margarito/De La Hoya.

Yes, Pacquiao has plenty of challenges at lightweight and everyone wants to see him have a great tear up against Hatton at 140.

**** De La Hoya, he is just greddy fighting Pacquiao. Why doesn't De La Hoya fight Pavlik at 160? De a Hoya is a 154 pounder now.

Jumping to 147 for De La Hoya would **** Manny's weight right up and he might get seriously hurt. Power is the last thing to go.

Pacman should stay at 135 and clear out the division first. Then go beat down a slow Hatton at 140 late 2009 or early 2010. But for De La Hoya he would look alot better fighting a fighter like Manny P. because Pacmans style of in your face agression is what makes Oscar look good. Especially against a undersized fighter. What better way for Oscar to go out with a KO against an undersized Mexican Assasin.

It'd be unprecedented heights for a Filipino fighter, but it means absolutely nothing. I'd much rather see Pacquiao go up against the top fighters at 135.

I'm not at all ok with this fight.. If that's what Pacman wants to do then he is probably looking at the dollar bills rather then anything else. I for one will not be paying for this.

nah oscar deserves to win his last fight, a cotto or margarito bout would be more entertaining but extremely hard to win for oscar

This fight would be pointless, it will prove nothing. What we need is DHL against Cotto. If Cotto looks impresive beating Margarito the build up for the DLH fight would be huge. DLH last fight would generate lots of buys and give Cotto the exposure he needs with the casual fan.Now that DLH is retiring we need someone that can get the casual fans watching and Cotto has the style to do it.

why would oscar give his last fight to cotto? hes from the competition
by fighting pacquiao hes defeating a big top rank name, by losing to cotto hes creating a huge top rank superstar
