Good thing you started watching boxing yesterday little boy. Calzaghe himself said he never thought he could beat Jones back in his prime. The quote is widely circulated. Guess you wouldn't know since you've started watching boxing last week and have never boxed.

    Little crybaby.

I cannot think of anyone that Calzaghe has faced that can even beat this Rjj much less the prime Rjj. Give me one example besides Robin Reid. He don't even get consideration. One thing to remember is: Jones only lost by a lucky punch, by coming back too soon and fear of getting caught in those 3 fights. He is over that stuff as of now. I believe he would beat Johnson or Tarver now.

I see it being close JUST because joe will throw 100 punches to Jones 50 or so. But hey it will be a good one... what about you, how do you see the fight?
Joe can't throw 100 punches a round against a guy like Jones and Roy hasn't thrown 50 per round for years now.
I just hope Roy tags Joe often enough a lot with his straight right to win the fight

If you gotta hate, hate on Joe because we all know he is the one after this fight, he needs Jones name on his record to make a case for a legacy fighter after he retires. Hopefully they will omit Jones' age and Joe will be the WWE i mean p4p champion of the world and in WWE err i mean boxing's HoF.
Jones is doing what Bernard, and basically every fighter does to sell the fight. It's part of his job fooling you into buying the fight because he's getting a ppv %. Strictly business. I don't think he believes he's able to beat Joe at this stage of his career.

Chris Eubank, Robin Reid, Byron Mitchell, Charles Brewer, Richie Woodhall, Mikkel Kessler, Bernard Hopkins and possibly even Jeff Lacy would have had a chance against this version of Roy. I'm telling you, he is too old.

Won't do him any good come the fight night. Imagine Roy had retired after Ruiz, he would be known as a living legend today! If Calzaghe had accomplished a similar feat he would retire immediately, would NOT comeback no matter how provoked he was, you know what i mean. On the other hand it would be hard to accomplish that with no soul or TRUE competitive spirit. I'm sad to announce Roy will lose beforehand but i think he will. Remember how Roy failed to capitalize on Trinidad's KD in his last fight? I think Joe saw his opening seeing that fight, he thought "It's money in the bank, even if he manages to hurt me he won't be able to finish me off. And, in normal conditions, i will outwork Jones thoroughly the whole fight, so UD for me worst case scenario. Call him, call Guiness too."

By empty handed do you mean the 50+ million he has in the bank or what?
