British heavyweight champion Danny Williams is not happy with the treatment he received from referee Dave Parris during the controversial decision win over John McDermott in Dagenham. Despite the fight being very close and Williams losing three-points, the three official judges still managed to hand him a majority decision win with scores of 114-111, 114-113 and 113-113. i dont see how this fight was contraversial.
apart from round 5 mcdermot did **** all but stand there and admire williams power before the points deductions williams had it wide and should still win a close but clear unanimous decision with the deductions.
trust me you should watch this fight without the commentators

I know WHO the sky commentators wanted to win this fight and that isnt Williams but i cant see how williams got the decision after 3 points deduction.

On a sidenote Jim watts is a disgrace for scoring round 5 a 10-8 round for Mcdermott even though Williams didnt go down!!! WTF.

He didn't go down, but Danny spent 2 minutes as a spasticated punch bag. I think a 10-8 was possible for that round
