Danny Williams is a dirty fighter

Danny Williams is one of the dirtiest fighters I've ever seen, in fight after fight. His fans are complaining about refs deducting points, but in the fight today against McDermott he should have lost points much earlier because of his numerous rabbit punches.

Whenever he's in trouble, he resorts to dirty tactics. In the Platov fight, he cut the young Ukrainian over the eye with a deliberate, well-placed head butt. Against Airich, he used numerous rabbit punches and low blows. Today, he again used rabbit punches and low blows.

In virtually every round of every fight, Williams holds his opponent's arm, while hitting to the side of the head and behind the head.

I think he realizes he needs to resort to these tactics, otherwise he would have little chance of winning.

He had to take on not only the **** german fighter but his promoter and the ref in that fight. he did what was necessary to win. Are you pissed that he's a far more interesting fighter than the faceless european plodders?

In what way is he "more interesting"? You seem like a woman with a sexual attraction.

I don't find holding, headbutting, and rabbit punching interesting at all. I like good sportsmanship and fair play.

Dirty fighters should never be allowed to fight. If they are allowed to fight, then this means the best fighter might not always win.

but the best fighters don't always win , winter.

being dirty is part of the game. it's up to the referees to decide what to penalize and up to the fighter to realize what he can and can't get away with.

people consider hopkins a great fighter , i think he's awful to watch and dirty......

I didn't see the fight that happened earlier, but I don't consider Williams to be a dirty fighter based upon what I've seen of him, which is quite a lot, going back to when he was still a young prospect with only a few fights on his record. In that time I've not seen anything to make me think that he was a dirty fighter.

I don't think that he intentionally cut Platov, and I can't think of many people who think that he was the one to blame for the shambles of the fight in Spain. The guy has to deal with his opponent, the ref, and the promoter deciding when rounds should end, he was hardly the bad guy that night.

Airich did impress me though, I'll keep an out for him in future as I think he may do well, at least against the likes of Samil San (European champ).

to be fair Danny once knocked Michael Sprott the **** out when the referee called a break and pushed them apart.

He is pretty dirty. I still like him though he is exciting, not just a bag of dirty tricks.
