Like 9-3 with the 3 KD's. If Hopkons put him down, Roy will. And Cals throws slaps out of no where and doesnt pin point his shots. he just throws them wildly. Roy catches him while Joe does this, and Roy wins.
We can only hope.. But hey I'm with ya... I'm on the Roy Jones Jr boat!!!! I think he can do it!

Now about the fight. Now that its 2008 and Jones is old it will be good and fair for Joe. Both are on the same level now yet Jones will still have the advantage in Speed. Question is can he do it for 12 rounds, if not Joe will win like always by a sad Split or UD....

      nothing more nothing less.....
      Listen up ****wit.
I dont even like Calzaghe but I believe in TRUTH.
Roy has NOTHING LEFT IN THE TANK.
He couldn't even put away a blown up inactive Tito who was only playing for money.
In 3 years HE BEAT 2 NOBODIES AND tITO WHO WAS LAST WORTH ANYTHING AT WELTERWEIGHT.
You belong to the same creed as the Tyson fans who alkways thought Mike could come back.

Everything you just stated was facts, cant deny facts. But your underestimating Jones, and hey to make it fair, I could be underestimating Calzaghe. I think Jones knows how to defeat Calzaghe.

I think Jones is focused and has that will to fight. I don't think Calzaghe is expecting the "RIGHT" Jones to show up. Meaning the unexpected Jones that plans on beating some ass using his speed which is faster and his punches which are stronger and IF his legs are prepared to move for 12 rounds he WILL out maneuver Joe Calzaghe. That's IF his legs will let him. I think Jones will come prepared.

I'm just excited for the fight and I give it an even SPLIT 50 50 chance for either. because I think Joe is not expecting what's in store for him and will be surprised but on the flip side if Jones does not come to fight all 12 its a Split or UD for Joe. 50/50 chance. Just because its 2008. If you were to remove about 10 years. Jones by KO in under 8 and thats because the dude would be playing to the crowd and show boating and not fighting...

          Just being honest!

I said the same thing in another post.

Roy has to be aggressive otherwise he loses. Simple.

If he is more aggressive and really goes balls out. I'd favour him actually. I don't think he will though, he'll be thoughtful and get spoiled all night long to a Calzaghe UD.

Who is a better spoiler than Bernard Hopkins? Try Joe Calzaghe

I'm feeling the same way. I would think tho the way Roy has been talking since his 'big' win over Tito that he's pretty ****y again....will he fight like it? time will tell, One has to think tho that if there was an opponent Roy should be willing to take the risk against it's Calzaghe.....He doesn't hit as hard as say Tarver did or talked about future opponents like Pavlik does.....We'll see. For some reason this fight is getting me a little bit happier than I thought it would. I'm looking forward to it but think Calzaghe wins by UD.

There is no potential risk for Jones in this fight and he clearly understands that. Joe has as much chance of K.Oing Jones as Chris Byrd had of K.Oing Toney...Jones understands that Calzaghe is a "BIG Name" opponent, that can give him the credance he once manifested. You can expect Jones to come in the best of shape....He can still crack at his ripe age...and if his connect percentage is on cue, Joe will Definitely touch the canvass

To Win, Roy needs to take chances. He has to be agressive otherwise he will be cannon fodder

Roy can still produce his absolute best but only in tiny spurts
The key to this fight wil be Roys blazing fast and accurate jab...
