Looking at the rest of the welterweight linear champs for the last few years, The Viper, Mayorga, Spinks, Judah, Baldomir and Mayweather, Margarito likely loses most of those fights with the exception of Mayorga and MAYBE baldomir. But against cotto he stands a chance based exclusively on his style and thats it. Cotto isnt just some guy who can walk through everyone and that strength advantage might not be there like it normally is, thats why. It isnt biased at all, i have no reason to be biased against cotto, if he wins or doesnt win, it doesnt matter to me.

This is his weight class, didn't you read the article?
He was weak at 140 and shouldn't have never fought at that weight.
Cotto was meant to be a welter weight and what helps him in this fight and what people keep forgetting is, Cotto is "SMARTER" than Margarito.
I know, all you guys are saying, what does knowing how to read a book, have anything to do with boxing?
Well, boxing is 90% mental and the rest is just ******ed strengthen.
It'll just take 1 mistake by Margarito, to change the out come of this fight.
Miguel, will capitalize on all and any mistakes, Margarito makes!
IE, wide punches, slow jabs and over aggressiveness, anyone of those things can make a difference in this fight and out come!!

And are you implying that Margo couldn't beat Baldomir or Spinks for that matter, what a load of **** is that. You are actually saying that Baldomir and Spinks would have a better chance against Margo than Cotto? Bro, you're making Shalafi look smart.

Bro, you're making Shalafi look smart.Where you talking about punchers or real welterweights, make up your mind? Quintana is a real welterweight who's a decent puncher with a 70% ko record
Spinks would NEVER stand in front of Margarito, he would hit him with jabs and straight shots and cruise to a UD. I guess i am ****** for thinking the former linear welterweight champ whos a pure boxer and never stands in front of you waiting for you to hit him would lose to a guy whos flatfooted and his whole attack being mounted from stationary positions. Spinks outboxed Mayorga and hed do the same to margarito, both of them need you to be in front of them. I dont think you saw that fight though, which is probably why you think Spinks would somehow lose.
Against baldomir i dont know what would happen, Baldomir can take margaritos punch, margarito would be able to take baldomirs punch, i really couldnt call that fight, i think Margarito is better than baldomir, but both of their styles make it a hard fight to call. Which is why i said.
and MAYBE baldomir
Considering you said in another thread that Kostya Tszyu was a pressure fighter, i doubt you understand the dynamic of why Spinks at the top of his game wouldnt lose to margarito.
