Cotto won't be able to eat **** because his mouth will need to be wired shut for a couple of months after all the Margarito uppercuts make their way there....he'll be drinking from a straw!

if mayweather never moved up, this fight still would have happened. i dont think they are giving anyone the finger, they arent doing anything they wouldnt do if mayweather existed or not.

Either way, margarito better be hungry, this is the only time probably ever that there is a top welterweight that he actually stands a chance against.

He had a much better chance against Williams.

Williams was his height, could match his workrate as well as provided straight punching that offset margaritos attack, even when margarito stepped it up, in the 12th williams stuck with his gameplan and still did what he needed to do, in the rematch it would be more of the same.

With cotto he has a better chance only because cotto goes through these defensive lapses where he gets nailed with wide shots, this is also cottos first real fight with a real welterweight. I dont think cotto is some devastating puncher and neither is margarito, but the thing is i dont know how cotto will stand up to the work rate if margarito doesnt respect his power. If we see by round 6 that margarito is still coming foward showing no sign of being hurt whatsoever, cotto is in big trouble. Especially with cottos inability to get out of the way of the right hand.

What a very sick, twisted thought. Every time a fan hears something he doesn't like, he has to resort to this type of degenerativity lol. Grow up.

When I read that this is Cotto's first fight at welterweight, I had to stop reading.
