Duran had 100+ fights by that time and that was his best win??????

Why are we talking about Bhop? Shouldn't you be asking about Tarver?

To stay consistent with the core of the debate in the other thread this poll should've been worded as "Who's win at the time was more impressive Tito over Jppy or Hop over Tarver?"

I voted Joppy for 2 reasons. First I dont think Tarver was well prepared for this fight. The Rocky movie, yo-yo weight thing. Secondly I think Tito was more impressive with Knocking out and destroying Joppy (while coming up in weight) than just outclassing and being sharper than Tarver while coming up in weight.

Secondly Joppy is also now held in low regard because saddly Tito made him damaged goods, similar to Campas, Vargas, Carr, Mayorga. So he didn't have the career he could've had.....had he lost to another opponent.

BTW....how was he wrecked? The only other times he lost after that fight were to fighters he would have lost to regardless of whether the Tito fight happened or not. In his very next fight he came back and won a title!

Going into to the fight Tarver I believe was a clear favorite over Hopkins. As far as the actual fight is concerned neither Tarver or Joppy were competitive but if I had to pick I'd say Tarver.
