There is two sides to every story, remember both fighter draw up a plan before they step in the ring. Either way AA-Pavlik makes for a much more fan/action-friendly match then does Pavlik-hopkins. When was the last time that Hopkins truly delivered like he used to?

Pavlik beat Edison Miranda and Jermain Taylor. AA beat Miranda and AAs Taylor is Pavlik, who does not seem to have plans for fighting him. All other names on both their records are useless. But if you truly wanted to compare opponent for opponent Arthur has fought the better opposition. Again no superstars are involved and this does not include Taylor. Either way I am a huge fan of both these guys and really want to see them fight it out. I wish Pavlik would force both Arum and Hopkins to retire after he runs over BHOP. Maybe then we could see the fights we want, not Pavlik-Bhop/Williams, Pacman-Diaz/soto/any other guaranteed win.

I'm not looking at there career.. I'm putting AA next to PAV... when you look DOWN at AA you see a little guy that will just get punched in the face with jabs by the much BIGGER guy with a reach advantage and is stronger. AA will need to get on the inside but PAV will put him on the ropes and KO this guy in the middle rounds. Both are good. PAV is just the bigger man that has the advantages. I don't even see how you would say other wise. IMO JT would take AA's best shot and would beat AA... and PAV destroyed JT.... The real question is can PAV beat a guy (joe calzaghe) with NO power and all speed/endurance that only fights to take it to a 12 UD by just simply swinging the arms in mixed directions to impress the judges for the win... that's his real test...

YES but didn't we already cover that topic in here... AA has a MANDO.... remember?????? So no point in that theory.... but I would have loved for it to take place instead of HOP, who wouldn't?????... but as you see it wont happen as of right now....

You are def convinced in you opinion but you theory relies on AA having weak defense which is wrong he Probably has the best defense in MW today, second you assume AA a stationary target which he is not. He has fought taller fighters and proved he can get on the inside in the past, obviously none of these guys were Pavlik. I am not saying AA would win, but I am saying this fight is a LOT more competitive then you give it credit for. I still think Cal does not have the chin to take more then 20 Pavlik shots.

Hate to see this is PPV.

Its lose lose situation for Pavlik. If he wins he wont get any credit and if he does some how get a loss its going to be a huge setback. Pavlik is a middleweight, thats where he should fight. This going up and back down stuff isnt good for him. If he goes up a weight class and a half, I doubt he ever comes back down where he should be.
