MAB beat him 2 outta 3. Only thing Erik has on him is the fact that he UD'd Pac, which don't count for much since Pac whomped him twice after that. Morales is an ATG no doubt but MAB is just a lil bit better.

oh and i voted draw but im beginning to realise morales has the better legacy, he beat pac the first time and would have done the second time but all those wars he has been through were hell on his body and the guy is basically shot now.....even though hes only 31 a fighters longevity is determined by the toughness of their fights not their age (although eventually age takes its toll, no matter how safety first a fighter is) a perfect example is hopkins and morales, hopkins' defensive minded style has enabled him to fight into his 40's, while morales' has been through some incredibly hard fights that have aged him terribly even at 31

To me, while Barrera was great also, Morales was the definition of what people envision boxing to be. A true throwback fighter. One tough fight after another where he left everything in the ring every single time, even in defeat. His legacy reigns supreme.

Morales has the better legacy imo but barrera had morales' number whenever they fought.

To me, thats what makes the difference in favor of Morales. He never had to come back from anything until the end of his career. Barrera had to comeback from the middle of his career. The bulk of Eriks losses came from his last 3 years.

Fair point, but Barrera coming back from adversity was very impressive to me, especially coming back the way he did.
