Margarito is going to need a lot more than power and uppercuts to beat Cotto. I can't understand how his fans believe Cotto is just going to sit in the pocket the whole time and continuously get hit punches. Are we forgetting why Cotto is 32-0? He digs deep when he needs to and always comes with several game plans to get the "W".
I hope Margarito doesn't underestimate Cotto's power...that'll be a costly mistake.Comment

Nobody said Cotto is going to sit there and get hit, Tony is going to work to get those shots in but Tony is effective at cutting the ring, and Cotto's defense is not necessarily better than Tony's, as a matter of fact I would dare to say Tony's defense is a notch better, anyway Cotto leaves himself open when he goes to the body, and he also lunges towards the body when there is distance, Tony will tap that chin and body in return.
Man you guys will end up with your foot in your mouth the 27th.Comment

I honestly see it like this, check it out playa...
Cotto is going to try to land big shots on Tony to establish his power and speed on the first rounds, but at the sight of Tony being able to shake off Cotto's best punches and throwing the occasional laugh and wink (Tony's trademark) he will go to plan B and try to outbox Tony to a decision.
Tony will start out strong, he will measure Cotto probably lose the first round or two, he will keep on pressuring Cotto and after that he will continue to let his hands go, throwing full force, missing but landing some really big bombs on Cotto.
The uppercut is going to be very effective and surprisingly his body shots are going to be hurting Cotto badly. When Cotto tries to set his combos he's wide open for a Tony exchange, he will take one or two to give three harder punches.
In the mid to late rounds Cotto will get frustrated with Tony because he will realize he won't be able to box the full 12 and will dig in to his brawler side and will go toe-to-toe with Tony, the outcome of this will be Cotto gets KO'd in the 9th round, 10th tops.
Mark my words.Comment
