yes. only people that smoke crack would say tszyu could ko floyd.

how could floyd possibly get koed by someone on Ring's Top 100 Greatest Punchers of All-Time?

but only people that snorts floyd's nuts would say he hasn't got a chance.

floyd is a great fighter but he isn't invincible. kostya is a great fighter himself.

when you match up 2 great fighters anything can happen.

I will say this much Floyd never stuck around to find out. He was gone in a hurry, I personally don't think he wanted anything to do with Tsyzu. Tsyzu took down boxers that had faster hands and more power(Judah) and Mitchell was a slick intelligent boxer.

Roger Mayweather shared a lot of similarities with PBF's style, obviously he trained him. Raising his left shoulder, head and body movement, fighting going backwards, fighting in spurts, etc. Tszyu's left hooks and jab still found him, with the occasional right. I think that the Tszyu-Mayweather fight is a good example of how it could have went. Obviously PBF is more talented and more intelligent, but PBF's style is meant to endure age, speed only helps it isn't something he relies on. PBF would be on his bike just the same, tying you up on the inside. He would probably fight a very similar fight with a better offense. I just don't see Tszyu having the trouble hitting PBF that everyone else sees.

In some ways I would see similarities between the DLH-PBF fight. I feel that Tszyu was a better boxer then DLH, he was more patient. He was more economic with his punches and outside of the Phillips fight always well prepared. Tszyu had a better pressure style against a slick boxer then DLH.

I don't know that Tszyu would win, but of all the fighters in recent memory I would say that Tszyu has one of the better chances at winning PBF.

Kosta Tzyu was a great fighter that many feared in his prime. He was relentless and vicious puncher who woul punish his opponents into submission. Just because a lucky Ricky Hatton came along and beat an old rusty Tsyu. Does not diminish any of Tzyu great accomplishments in the ring.

Anyone who can't appreciate his greatness has never seen him fight or is just plain ******.

It's time the greatness of Kostya Tszyu is appreciated. He is one of the most underrated fighters on this board. That's unfortunate. I will do my best to change that.

First of , who is Kostya Tszyu you ask? He's one of the greatest junior welterweights of all time. He's up there with all the other greats who have fought at 140 and would be competitive with any of them head to head.

Second , who has he beat? Well here's a list of some of the opponents he beat , their record when they first fought Kostya and some of the titles they've held.

                  Zab Judah (27-0-0) WBO/IBF140 , WBC/WBA/IBF147 Champion
                  Sharmba Mitchell (47-2-0) WBA/IBF140 Champion
                  Julio Cesar Chavez (103-4-2) WBC130 , WBC/WBA135 , WBC/IBF140
                  Champion
                  Roger Mayweather (54-11-0) WBA130 , WBC/IBO140 , IBA/IBO147 Champion
                  Rafael Ruelas (52-3-0) IBF135 Champion
                  Jesse James Leija (43-5-2) WBC130 , IBA135 Champion
                  Oktay Urkal (28-0-0)
                  Ben Tackie (24-2-0)
Miguel Angel Gonzalez (43-1-1) WBC135 Champion
                  Diobelys Hurtado (28-1-0) WBA/IBA140 Champion

                  Ismael Armando Chaves (40-5-3)
Jan Piet Bergman (32-0-0) WBU147 Champion
                  Corey Johnson (20-1-1) IBC140 Champion
                  Hugo Pineda (27-0-1)
                  Jake Rodriguez (26-2-2) IBF140 Champion
                  Pedro Sanchez (26-1-2)
                  Angel Hernandez (40-1-2)
                  Hector Lopez (26-2-1)
                  Livingstone Bramble (34-11-3) WBA135 Champion
                  Juan LaPorte (37-12-0) WBC126 Champion
A lot of those guys were old when he fought them, and he fought them early in his career. He did prove his worth when he flattened Zab, but Cool Vince showed that if you took his best, he had no plan B.

Died when he didn't get of his stool against Hatton in the final round.
You got 1 fn round to go in your career why sit it out. No matter how great everybody thinks he is that is the last image I have in my mind him bowing down to Fn Ricky Hatton. It created a bs legacy for Hatton and ruined Tszyu great reign.

I agree that it created a bs legacy for Hatton, but it didn't affect his that much. To see how great he was, just look at where Hatton's win over Tsyu has taken him.
