Wlad doesn't do well with ppl who can land clean effective shots......And we all know what James game is and thats clean counter shots......

Remember and watch as much tape as you want too, Wlad leaves his left jab just hanging out there, he has never been one to bring it back up after throwing in a piston like motion, if James is able to slip his jab.....In which we all know he would have the ability too, he can throw his best punch all night which is his overhand, or straight right cross countering Wlads jab.....

Wlad is almost to mechanical at times, and this is something that a natural fighter like James Toney can easily take advantage of....When have you ever seen an in shape James Toney look sloppy........Ill answer that, NEVER....Meanwhile say what you would like about Wlad, but the man is still a work in progress, He lacks the most important factor in the game, and that's the ability to not be hit, he has no defense, his defense is his offense as he uses his jabto keep ppl off of him.....

Well it would be very difficult for a much much slower Wlad to keep James a master counter puncher and a slip and throw puncher off of him......

Toney solidly outpoints Wlad....Also remember, this is a man with a chin of GRANITE if i've ever heard such a thing. 79 professional fights and he's never once been stopped. Not to mention 5 years fighting in the HW division, and he's only been down once in 5 years....See Toney V Peter 2....a 240 lbs. OUT OF SHAPE JAMES TONEY..........

Toney's just too small. Toney's a master on the inside, but Wlad would keep the fight at a distance. He would definitely land his share of jabs and straight right hands on Toney. Wlad has the shaky chin and stamina, but Toney's not a big puncher and I don't see him being the one to take full advantage of Wlad's weaknesses.

The accumulated damage would take a toll on Toney and if Toney's great chin allows him to stay upright, then well eventually there may be a corner or ref stoppage.
