i think Pavliks height may work against him in this fight cause Collins is shorter and physically stronger IMO, Collins would utilise his smaller arms inside and he would lean on Pavlik and make it a real dog fight not that Pavlik is'nt capable of dealing with that i just feel Collins would wear him down and Pavliks height would mean he would catch more punches against the shorter Collins and he would not turn his shots over quicker inside cause of Collins shorter arms as aspose to Kellys longer arms
Interesting analysis, your probably right Collins had a nack for just getting in there, he was like a man in armour jumping forwards. He wasn't really that vulnerable to counters as he'd do something with it no matter what it was. Collins retired so young man, so underrated. More I think about it the more I think it'd be a TKO or KO victory around 9th round for Collins. Just too tough and relentless, and would definitely capitalise where most others, even now, would not.

as much as i love Eubank i think Collins would still of beaten him in his prime as would Calzaghe they both had the perfect game plan to beat Eubank and the blue print was laid down by Michael Watson in the second fight keep the preassure on him make him work dont let him work at his own pace and watch out for his right hands

people underestimate how hard he actually hit with that right hand he put Benn away with it he put Collins on the floor he had Thompson a natural CW on the deck numerous times and for my money he had Calzaghe hurt in the last round of their fight

lol Eubank beat himself up about that, Collins played the game and Eubank fell for it more power to him, he beat him with no arguement from Eubank the second time though

for my Money Benn was badly shot when he faced Collins but i dont feel Eubank was shot TBH he had just put on a masterfull performance in his last outing against Henry Wharton the best of his career and he was'nt exactly old either ,he had his fair share of gimme fights during his reign aswell the toughest fights of his career pre Collins were Benn ,Watson and he looked fine after those performances

Terrible, you don't by any chance have the Eubank Collins fights on your hard drive do you? If so I bet I wouldn't be the only one who would drastically appreciate an upload.

                post Watson 2 he fought

Graciano Rocchigiani a solid fighter who a lot of people predicted he would lose to a guy who went onto earn a win over Michael Nunn

he beat Wharton up it was his best performance ever

Collins has more physical strength i would say and probably a better chin and Collins can be an effective counter puncher albeit very crude on the other hand Pavlik is a bigger puncher has more height and can Box behind a great jab when he has too and he is relentless aswell

its also worth noting that Collins is good at mauling and and leaning on u when he gets close /inside using his physical strength

                    who ya got
kelly all day. collins wins over eubanks and benn does not make him greater. they were both on the downside by the time they fought him. benn post-mcclellan had lost his hunger. what human wouldnt have after that?!?
