With all due respect dude, you sound like a prison guard, whom has his personal extreme rule book kept in his back pocket. Your tone in how it is and will be based on your opinion is pretty damn arrogant. Calzaghe deserves some dues for beating Roy, not loads ok, but to say none just underlines the bias and dismissive attitude you show.

Calzaghe hasn't changed his mind quite as much as made out, on the whole he's been careful not to say definitely his last fight, but could be, we'll see etc. If he jumps through this hoop of beating the latest best America's got to offer, and many keep this high benchmark, cynical attitude then it'd be a whole new level of ridiculous, and totally indefensible.

It's all hype to sell PPV's...of course this fight was always going to happen!!!
Most of you fell for it hook,line and sinker!!!
I will be going for Pavlik in that fight should it come off...will be one of the blockbusters!!!...I went for Kessler as well obviously against JC and look where that got me...JC beat him soundly...anyone out there that thinks Pavlik would have an easy time with a slightly technical hard puching brawler like Kessler is dellusional, Pav might even get koed.
I think the same may apply for JC vs Pav...ya hate him but he's ****en good..plain and simple...he's not all that flashy so ya pick on him but he's still ****en good!! I just hope if Pavlik loses he doesint crawl under a rock for 8 months or so like Kessler did...that would be devastating...and annoying.

So boof******* was saying Pavlik should be fighting AA. You retorted he's not because AA has a mandatory.

I then explained that's not a good excuse because mandatories are often avoided in various ways, including Dawson recently.

I went on to say Pavlik nor Arum have talked seriously about a fight with Abraham, let alone soon, when they should it's the most logical fight for him.

AA himself called out Pavlik on national tv, saying he wants him and ODL in some of his next fights, i.e very soon.

Pavlik and Arum went out to several ppl including Sergio Mora, and have landed a fight with someone 2 divisions lower. They didn't even mention or consider the options around AA and his call out for a fight soon, as I've said, it could be made.

AA would have a fighters chance and that is all...a win against Miranda is just like a win against any other no name journeyman with a resonable record.

Exciting times for Pavlik!!!!!

It's going to be an exciting time for Pavlik anyway...im sure he is gonna dominate the MW and SMW (should he choose to move up) and he is going to destroy all these fringe "bigname" fighters like AA, Lucian Bute, Mundine,Froch and Williams ect ect...lets hope he keeps his zero intact should he fight Calzaghe...but hey either way this guy is something else and a true gentleman of the sport and the loss should it happen wont bother his fans to much I guess.

That's fair enough. I am disappointed that he chose Roy over Pavlik as his final opponent, but if he has one more fight and takes on KP then I will be happy with that, even if he loses.
