I'm one of the biggest Winky Wright fans on this forum, and I have always said Calzaghe would get the better of Wright.

Jones fights like Wright now that his reflexes aren't going to be enough to power him through his fights, except Wright does it better.

Those looping shots are going to be the ones that are going to be able to get around the high guard that Jones Jr. keeps now.

Can all the Pavlik fanboys shut up now?

Joe has maintained all along that he would probably retire after the Jones fight but he never said for sure. He still might anyway but at the end of the day, he calls the shots.

Lets just hope Pavlik doesnt get KOed by one of Joe's sparring partners or some welterweight between now and then.

I even told you that he was not retiring after Jones, and you called me wrong and said that he would.

He said he would probably retire hence you werent really in a position to say he wasnt gonna retire. He still might. None of us know for sure.
Either way, it'll be Joe's final decision and it wont depend on Kelly Pavlik boosting his legacy, it'll depend on money just like the Jones fight.

Thats the thing. Calzaghe/Pavlik would be huge. Two unbeaten champions with styles that are made for an exciting fight and I'm sure a lot of people would be interested. This is fight that would do a lot of money and boost his legacy at the same time.

I couldnt care less if he fights Pavlik or not to be perfectly honest. If I wanted to see a one sided beating I'd go watch the Lacy fight.
