Do you feel you could beat a boxer?

I was flirting with Gato Figueroa about putting on a boxer vs. journalist exhibition for charity a few years back. I knew straight up that chances were, he was going to put his foot up my butt if we really went at it, but I was going to take whatever I had coming at me for the fun and enjoyment of whoever showed up.
Luckily it never came about.Comment

That would've been cool. Make sure it's not on PPV if it ever materializes.I was flirting with Gato Figueroa about putting on a boxer vs. journalist exhibition for charity a few years back. What people see on TV is the finished product. The guy who shows up on HBO and ESPN2 is the product of the work put in during the 6-8 weeks of grueling labor and sacrifice. If you saw what these guys go through on a daily basis to get the bodies that they have, you would understand why I'm telling you that no, you don't have much of a chance with a pro boxer, particularly in a boxing match.
I was reading the George Plimpton book "ShadowBox", and in it they said that former middleweight champion Stanley Ketchel used to take whoopings from people in the stands who he dared to fight him, but who knows.Comment
