Fight on neutral ground, that was Jones' stance. Michaelzewski wanted to have this fight in Germany, what for?

Michaelzcewski struggled against Richard Hall twice, which is not among the most flattering of laurels to enter a Roy Jones fight with. His first loss was to Julio Gonzalez, I don't think I have to continue much further.

Jones might have done some weird stuff, like fighting John Ruiz and not Lennox Lewis and declaring himself the heavyweight champion unfittingly. But ducking Michaelzcewski, nah, it didn't happen.
Oh lord... Richard Hall is ****ing terrible.

Julio Gonzalez isn't good either, but that was after like 45 fights, was it not? He could have been on the downslope.

I wish that would have been taken care of so he could have matched Bernard Hopkins's middlweight feat of collecting all 4 major belts plus The Ring belt.

    Montell Griffin is okay, but...

I think he has Rocky Juarez syndrome. He is so highly regarded because he put on a good show against Jones in his first fight with him (like Juarez did with Barrera), but... his career was kind of a bust.

In Jones' 45th fight, he put a one-sided whooping on Julio Gonzalez, while scoring like 3 knockdowns or something.

If you have more than one dimension, like a Hopkins, you can beat these younger, but inferior fighters to a point by shifting gears and the such. As is, Michaelczweski was who he was, a tough, aggressive fighter who could only win doing one thing, which is come forward and throw punches.

I'll go with the guy who can do different things as opposed to the guy who could do only one.

And Richard Hall wasn't all that bad, he just didn't know how to use his height and reach advantage.

Jones fanboys will always blame others. I dont understand how Jones managed to NOT fight Eubank, Benn, Collins, Calzaghe and Dariusz amoungst others.

The excuse is always that "they wouldnt come out their countries" when most of them have fought all over the place.

Another one is "they were nobodies". And Clinton Woods was somebody?

Both Jones and Dariusz lost at the age of 35, Jones in 2004, DM in 2003.

DM didn't quite become the Rocky Marciano of the LHW division, he was 48-0 when he lost a split decision to Gonzales. It's an elusive record isn't it, Holmes and Valuev would surely agree.

It's amazing that you know nothing about boxing and even when someone explains stuff to you keep rambling on with your ridiculous UK bias. Seek therapy.

Calzaghe DID NOT want to fight Jones. He ****ing said so. On top of it, the chump wouldn't come to fight the Prime P4P #1 champ on his own terms. Hell you admitted as much, but said "why should Calzaghe have fought Jones if he wasn't paid as much".

                  LOL.

Clinton woods came to America for less pay. So Jones fought him. It's pretty ****ing simple.

Well I consider Richard Hall a personal friend, so that might skew my perception of him a little. I've seen him in some very good fights, like the Letterlough and Michaelzcewski fights.
