    Calzaghe-Toney

Any opinions on how Calzaghe would have done against the James Toney who lost to a prime Roy Jones?

If neither of them had trouble making weight? I say Toney probably takes it. However, Joe may have pulled off an upset somewhere in the vicinity of 168, anything's possible.

The fact that Calzaghe had so many problems with the Hopkins counterpunching arsenal is a very bad sign for him in this fight.

Honestly, Toney probably would have been able to do the same (he was known as one of the best counterpunchers in the game) but more frequently.

      I'll take Toney by decision.

Toney was amazing, if he would have stayed in shape and ate right, he would have had a solid chance against RJJ. But dude would just get so out of shape, he just wasn't committed to boxing. If Cal and him fought I'd say Toney, would make Cal look very bad, not necessarily win, but make him look really bad and perhaps get the better side of the war.

Joe would have ducked toney for another peter manfredo type opponent. And then like 7 years later he would have taken on Jeff Lacy, and then you know the rest
