Also, honestly it was impressive that Jones did what he did but it was against Ruiz. Hopkins after beating Tarver came pretty close to signing a fight against Maskaev, another weak heavyweight champ.
I guess it's just opinion, dominating your weight for a long period of time is impressive and it's a great achievement, but then again so is Roy doing all the different weight classes. I would have liked to have seen Roy face the level of competition that Hopkins faced though, (Trinidad, Oscar, Wright, Taylor) they would have been great fights.

trinidad was a 147 pounder, and wright fought at 170, which needs no further explanation...

jermain is good, but he lost those, and oscar... oscar was good at 154 but definitely not his best, and thats not even talking about 160...

I would most definitely say that Jones has accomplished a lot more. I don't want to be little Hop's accomplishments because it is difficult to take on all new comers for that period of time. Jones went up and took titles in several divisions, was recognized as the linear champ in 3 weight divisions, and took a belt at HW.
Hop was recognized as the linear champ in 2 weight division(LH for a brief spot as well), but he never earned a belt in LH.

That said I hope RJJ knocks Cal out because of all the nut huggers say he is great for fighting and beating 43 year old hop, and 39 year old 5 years past prime RJJ.
