Why is the Cotto Margarito fight not for the IBF title aswell?

I think its probably because margarito having been given that title of "most feared man" basically he probably wanted to live up to it, then when it came down to a buisness desicion that would have worked out in his favor, he in some ways probably wanted to live up to the persona he had built for himself taking all comers.

For the most part i think he didint want to be hypocrtical but margarito shouldnt have even cared about that, at this point, im sure he doesnt. This fight could make all those years of top guys not wanting to give him a shot (mosley/wright/mayweather/judah) at WW pay off.

Still, its not like the fight was in indonesia for 30k.

LOL, yeah that **** was dumb on JMM part.........but Margarito lucked out too. He's lucky Cintron wanted to avenge his loss and had a title otherwise Margarito was not an appealing choice for any of the titlist and Margarito would've completely lost his chance at a big pay day.

I got on cintrons bandwagon in 2004, stayed on into 2005, kept the faith in 06, gained some steam in 07, and crashed right along with the laker bandwagon in 08.

Cintron against feliciano looked like he wanted to ****ing cry, i knew then that a win against margarito might be a longshot, steward looked like he wanted to say "YOU ACTIN LIKE A LIL ***** RIGHT NOW"

Did you see the Wlad fight? Tony Thompson looked the same way against Wlad, like he wanted to just give in and fold. Like sometimes dudes just look for a nice spot on the canvas to fall.
