First off, I'd like to note that I'm not trying to make it seem like I'm a boxing expert, because I'm simply not. This is just my observation.
Wlad looked out of his element on Saturday against Thompson. I don't know if anyone agrees but he looks sloppy in the ring. The only times he doesn't look sloppy is when his opponent stands right infront of him, not giving him any movement or angles with a **** defense (like Ray Austin).
His inside game is probably among the worst in boxing, he clinches excessively as well. He's like a ****in robot that was programmed to jab and throw right hands. His composure begins to deteriorate as soon as the fight strays away from what was expected.
I'm probably going to get **** for this but I don't see Wlad as a true fighter. He's good at chess matches but when **** gets rough and the match turns into a fight........he's really not that good.
With all of that being said, I don't understand how people don't give Haye a chance. Do you really think Haye can't do what Thompson did on Saturday? Plus, I think Haye hits a lot harder than Thompson and he shouldn't be that fatigued so early in the fight.
I have more to say but I'm kind of in a hurry.
