    Chavez Jr considering retirement?

    Chavez Jr. to retire?
    By Jose Reyes
After Julio Cesar Chavez Jr's controversial split decision win over Matt Vanda on Saturday night, Junior dropped the bombshell that he's considering hanging up his gloves for good. "The people wanted me to score a knockout but I could not," Chavez Jr. told TV AZTECA. "The people are very, very discontented with the result (this as Julio Sr is being booed when trying to calm down the crowd) and what can I tell you? What can I tell you as a fighter? Everything is just very sad....because of the fight....I don't know what to do. I don't know what I will do. I need to think about it real hard. I am considering retirement."

Meanwhile, Julio Sr. lashed out at unruly fans who booed and threw things into the ring after the controversial decision was announced. "It's a group of drunks," said the Mexican legend. "I don't like excuses, but my son made a super human effort, he fought sick and wanted to cancel the fight. The doctor gave him a shot because he had a fever after the weigh-in," he said.

that's not a good sign. It's too much pressure for a kid to take they're trying to make him his father.

these are the type of fans viva mexico! is...
discontent because he didn't get a knock out? c'mon..
anyway, it's Chavez Sr's fault for not having his son in at least the amateurs!
He has mad money there is no excuse why his son didn't have any AM experience going pro.
Who knows what he could have been? AM experience works wonders!
I really feel bad for dude for having to walk in his dads shadow but dude sucks...
