The heavyweight division is very weak right now even though it is debatably better than it was a couple of years ago.

Thats what i thought but Brewster, Byrd and Rahman would probably beat every American heavyweight out there in there primes. Its strange looking back at the depth of American heavyweight boxing pre 90's, there were always some low points but never anything like this.

Have you READ the post he made? It CLEARLY specifies Reed's regard as the division as being American-based.

I've got nothing against Reed at all, but it seemed a bit blinkered. If he wanted to say ALL heavies are ****, then fair enough.

But he CLEARLY specified American heavies in a thread about the entire division as if the US contigent was the be all and end all.
