the real question is... who would Lennox's trainer be if he does decide to return to the ring?

He has NO intention of returning to the ring. He KNOWS, better thasn anybody, how damned lucky he was that the ****** doctor stopped his fight with V. Klitschko, when Lewis was actually only barely able to reach his stool. It can never be known for certain, but it was an open question as to whether he'd have been able to come out for the next round. He was losing on all the cards and had lost the last round big.

Given that Lewis was down 4-2 on all three judges' scorecards, he would've had to win 5 of the next 6 rounds, barring a stoppage, to win the fight. Given Vitali's chin and the way the fight was going, that was highly unlikely. Despite what some try to claim on here, Wladimir is the overall superior boxer of the two brothers, in spite of the chin and aggressiveness differences. Wlad would make Lennox look silly at this stage, very bad move for Lewis.

I certainly agree, and although I've watched that fight at least 10 times, I still can't "for certain" figure out which rounds Lewis actually won. I had him losing at least 5 with, perhaps, the 6th rd drawn. I believe that the judges gave Lewis the 3rd rd. on the strength of the cut eye, although, in actual fact, if you really watch that rd, and ignore the cut, Klitschko won it easily.

They were both trying to thow bombs except when Lewis was desperately trying to evade and run from Klitschko's overwhelming attack, which happened lots more than once.

They may have given Lewis the round where he held K around the body with one hand and uppercutted Klitschko a couple of times with the other, ( a favourite Lewis tactic for which he should have been DQ'd). based on Klitschko's head going back, but it looks as if he had a glove there, and they may not have actually landed at all. It looked dramatic, but it had absolutely NO EFFECT on Klitscko.

Even if they HAD landed, they weren't effective in any way.

Yes you can put it that way. But you can also put it in this way: Could Klitschko last the remaining of the fight with his face hanging like that? Everyone gets lucky sometime and Lewis didn't push his luck so he earned being lucky. Even if he wasn't lucky nothing tells you Klitschko could go on as well with that face the way it was.

You guys say that Lewis would tap Wlad and stop him right? I mean this might have the makings of a Holmes/Norton. No joke.
No one is saying Lewis would have a chance now except the ones who want to see the old man hurt. Guess what, Lewis knows better than you.

Funny thing is you people feel it's ok to fight 40 year old fighters, but 27 year old Haye needs to "fight someone with pulse first" like Thompson did?

I must sadly assume that your fighting and competitive spirit is as of Klitschko's. None EXISTENT. No heart, no soul.

If anything the doctor should have stopped the fight sooner. Those were some nasty cuts.
