Calzaghes legs won him the fight. Against Roy, well we all know Roy is a scared fighter, he is terrified of the KO and that'll cripple him against Joe. He's gonna whirl off some combos now and again but with Calzaghe steaming at him he's gonna be timid Roy, retreating to the ropes, lolling back, waiting, waiting, waiting....while Joe wins rounds.

I think it will prove that the Hopkins fight was much tougher
Well I was taking what you said serious until you said Jones will be scared of Joes KO power... that statements shows you must not know who Joe Calzaghe is....

Also I think ONE of the main reasons he took this fight other than money was because Jones is NOT scared of the punches Joe will throw.... when has JOE KNOCKED SOMEONE OUT.... let alone DOWN?????????????????????

Yes he BARLEY beat HOP... like I said we gave HIM that win... dude DIDN'T WIN ****... he just threw his arms in the air more times than HOP did..... "OLYMPIC STYLE BOXING" that **** right there is garbage... NO RESPECT.. he DIDN'T win ****... you must beat the champ not throw more punches and call it a day... dude has YET to beat anyone in the past fue years OTHER than LACY... HE BEAT the **** out of HIM.... Kessler fight was just sad and HOP fight was just pathetic....... on the flip side hop DIDN'T do much either but JOE did not win the belts... he stole them by throwing 250 SLOPPY punches and looked like a JOKE doing it..... no respect sorry..... like i said maybe in the future if he continues to fight.... WHICH i think he will.... THE MONEY will be there... no respect from me...
Dude you've been wrong so many times I've lost count, often factually. You were pretty abrasive for awhile but have calmed down, still you post some silly biased rants with caps because you can't emphasise points with much weight, as you just a blind hater regardless. You show an awful childish tone underlining again your ignorance and like for just saying what your thinking as if it over rules every one else.

Calzaghe looked like **** beating Kessler? Your a blindly ignorant, biased idiot to say that, you really are.

Who beat Hopkins significantly more convincingly than Calzaghe I ask you? Roy Jones years ago, and arguably Taylor tho poss not. That's it. Not that I expect you've watched any boxing match in it's entirity that's over 5 years old, perhaps the odd one on youtube.

You've been posting so much on these boards, and when corrected only backed up 10% at most. Cut your posting down and watch some boxing, learn to talk and debate like an adult, and chill the hell out dude.

He's over the hill, deal with it. A win over an inactive, blown-up Trinidad didn't change it, and wanting the fight "more than anything" wont either. It's inimical that Calzaghe ain't heavy handed, Roy is gunshy, he's scared. Even against Tito he covered up and let Tito pound on him, the old Roy never used to take any unnecesary punches like that, he'd slip em, now he covers up and hopes not to get hurt, it's plain enough to see

pretty sure he fought glen 4 months after being KOed from tarver... im sure that had NOTHING to do with his performance

fear against hanshaw... u mean like in the 11th when hanshaw landed a right hand, and roy proceeded to give him a lightning quick 4 punch combo.. a straight right hand and knock him down?

                that kinda fear?

well good, i hope he gets scared more often

He has got to be the only fighter in history to make it that long without a loss while relying so much on speed. (The DQ definitely doesn't count)

And for those who forgot, he beat Tarver the first time...after taking a 25 pound weight drain to come down from heavyweight.
