Chris Eubank, the bankrupt ex-boxing champion, has given up his two teenage sons for adoption in America, according to reports.
Mr Eubank, 41, is said to have handed over Christopher Junior, 18, and Sebastian, 16, to an American woman after a meeting at a hotel in Paris.
The boys are said to be flourishing in Las Vegas under the care of Irene Hutton, a 51-year-old single mother.
Since his £1.3 million bankruptcy, the eccentric former middleweight boxing champion has travelled the world staying at homes of wealthy friends.
Miss Hutton said: "It sounds incredible - and it is. I have become the boys' mother only after a meeting with their father in a hotel in Paris.
"He was adamant that the entire adoption was kept secret and initially I agreed. But now I want the world to know."
Mr Eubank's former wife Karron, mother of their daughter, Emily, 14, and son, Joe, 11, is said to have given her blessing to the double adoption.
His ex-wife, who lives in Hove, East Sussex, and divorced Mr Eubank in 2005 after 16 years of marriage, is said to have visited her sons several times since the move.
She told The People newspaper: "They are there to go to school, get their trade and come home. They are doing exceedingly well and a damn sight better than they would in England."
