All this **** talking about Margarito and all this BS must mean that if Cotto beats him it won't mean anything. However if Margarito beats Cotto since Margarito isn't anything special Cotto was never good to begin with and nothing but hype and a bum. This is what a lot of u **** talkers are basically saying.

Completely disagree, whoever wins owns the welterweight division and all respect to them, but i'm sure there's alot of pointless talk hinting at your post.

Cotto wins = Confirms he is the best WW because that would be another Top 10 WW under his Belt

Margo wins = Brings him one step closer to the top, but would need to avenge his loss to Williams to even be considered the best WW.

well cottos undefeated, so obviously it will mean more to beat an unbeaten fighter. if cotto beats tony its nothing that hasnt been done before. it would still be impressive, margos a beast and he'll take a lot of beating, but its been done before.

              +1

              Beating Williams would solidify it.

This is true because we all know that Cotto is one of the biggest hype jobs EVER in boxing. Beating feather duster punchers, and way past their prime good names, made him LOOK good. But we all know, in our heart of hearts, thats Cotto is not what they make him out to be. Margs on the other hand, is what he is. A hard blue collar boxer that just goes and gets the job done to the best of his ability. Win lose or draw, he gave it all he had. Very, workman like. No trash talking, nothing, just get the job done, and yeah he took a loss, but he had no excuses and just kept on trucking. Even a Bentley gets a flat tire from time to time.

if anyone has fought feather-dusters its Marg.

no it means alot. It means a fight with de lahoya if he wins, wich would give cotto a mainstream appeal and the biggest payday of his career.
