heres my logic: Williams had a very tough fight against Margarito who can **** at 147 and would probably even be considered a damaging puncher at 154 but not at 160 and especially not even close to the punching power of Pavlik. So if Paul couldnt hurt Tony and was hurt by Tony I dont think gaining some weight is gonna do that much for either his ability to take shots or his power in delivering them. Theres also a cleverly disguised theory floating around about Williams KO'ing a bunch of middleweights early on but all those guys were chodes, garbage and do not really indicate how he will perform against the best middleweight in the world. Williams will crumble under Pavliks power and Pavlik will receive little from this fight other than money, experience against a high volume southpaw in case Joe wants to step up next.

Williams will try to outbox Pavlik a little bit.. Since Pavlik is much taller than Margarito and is very effective using his jab to execute his straight right, it'll be lights out for Williams..
