Noticeably absent from da list was David "Gaymaker" Haye. Could it be that he's done jack **** at hw and is full of hot air? HBO's not buying into the hype, so why should boxingscene?....
David Haye hasn't ever fought on the network. His intro to US TV was on Showtime. And Showtime may be the network to televise Haye's next fight.

It's less objective journalism and more PR for the channel...

We all know Arreola is going to get his shot out of turn

Arreola was getting US TV years ago though on FSN. It's not like he's "new on the scene" to American boxing fans, the ones who watch more events than whatever HBO is showing

Haye/Arreola might be interesting and would at least get one of them out of the picture.

Oh, Manny Steward said in an interview that he regards Haye as the biggest threat to Wlad (ahead of his No.2 Thompson and No.3 Peter... he doesn't rate Povetkin at all).

I'm not saying that's right or wrong... but it does show that he IS being taken seriously by some... if only to help sell the (inevitable?) fight.
